Oops.

Is it just me, or is Ricky Gervais the most over-rated comedian in the universe. As my old granny would say, he is a bag of balls. I watched “Extras” last night… it was just like everything else he’s ever done - like watching episode one of “The Office”, over, and over, and over again. Shite. His agent? Same character as Gareth, right down to the West Country accent. The guy in the smart suit? Finch. Its not even worth me whingeing. Ricky Gervais is a one trick pony, and the sooner his shows come to an end, the better.
Now, on to more interesting things. The album is coming on great… Jules came up with the concept for the end of it, and I love it. An “audacious playout” as he calls it. And yes, it will be awesome, featuring at least one guest vocal from the incredible, the mighty Foy Vance. Leo Abrahams has already contributed some magic to it, on a new track called “Dodging Bullets”. Watch this (very big) space.
I have been focusing my attention on my boutique web design agency “g-raff” recently. We’ve been so busy… creating sites for Iain Archer, Ammunition amongst others. The phone hasn’t stopped. Its going a bit mental. I’m not sure where its all leading. Added to which, my missus and I have gone into business with some friends from New Zealand, selling beautiful little Japanese baby “kimonos” - they are lovely little wraps - we’re building the web store at KimonoBaby.com. Phew! So much going on! So I hope that answers the question of why I have been so quiet recently.
Maybe that’s just not good enough.
In fact, I know its not.
You know what - my grandfather’s blog, Old Gaffer is getting more hits than I am!! bring it on! I love this. He is 84, and loving every minute. I have had laugh-out-loud moments reading it… if you haven’t seen it already, go and have a look, and leave him a comment.
Well - I’m off to Ireland next week to see my dear mama. I’m bringing Luka but Diane is staying here for a few well-deserved days off. I’m hoping to have a few late nights to myself, to do stuff like this.
For now, I sign off. x

Welcome back Steve! I agree about Ricky Gervais - if he’d quit while he was ahead everyone would’ve remembered him as really talented!!
Have a great time in Ireland :o)
