News effect

“Toddler stabbed to death in East London flat”
“Teenager stabbed to death in street fight”
“Man beaten to death outside his house for trying to stop youths from vandalising cars”

Its just too depressing, and it really does have an effect on me. I’m looking at my little boy, playing on the floor and watching “Maisy”. laughing and giggling and just trying, in my darkest thoughts, to imagine what it would be like if someone took his life. I would never recover. How could you?

Seriously thinking of leaving London.

I know what you mean, it’s really depressing. Unfortunately it’s not just London - it seems like nowhere seems to be safe. I guess it’s worse in the city centres, though……

I know what you mean. I’ve recently come back from a holiday camping in devon. You realise it is quite isolated there - coming back and watching the news, all you hear is people have been shot, or bombs going off. Brings you back to reality. I’d hate to live in London all the time.
